"A raíz de la celebración entorno a que Vermont sea el 4º estado en legalizar el matrimonio entre personas del mismo sexo, dedico esta nota a todos los gays, lesbianas, transexuales, drags y heteros que no se rinden luchando por los derechos de los Gays.
10 razones por las que el matrimonio gay está mal:
1) Ser gay es anti-natural. Los verdaderos norte-americanos siempre rechazan lo anti-natural, como las gafas, el poliéster y el aire acondicionado.
2) El matrimonio gay animará a otras personas a convertirse en gays, de la misma forma que ir con gente alta te hace alto.
3) Legalizar el matrimonio gay abrirá la puerta a todo tipo de comportamientos locos. La gente querrá incluso casarse con sus mascotas porque un perro tiene personalidad legal y puede firmar un contrato de matrimonio.
4) Los matrimonios "heteros" llevan aquí un montón de tiempo y no han cambiado para nada; las mujeres siguen siendo una propiedad, los blancos y los negros no se pueden casar y los divorcios siguen siendo ilegales.
5) El matrimonio hetero tendrá menos sentido si se aprueba el matrimonio gay; la santidad del matrimonio de 55 horas por diversión de Brittney Spears quedará destruida.
6) Los matrimonios heteros tienen validez por que producen niños. A las parejas gays, parejas no-fértiles y parejas mayores no se les puede permitir casarse por que nuestros orfanatos aún no están lleno y el mundo necesita más niños.
7) Evidentemente, los padres gays crían hijos gays, ya que padres heteros crían hijos heteros.
8) El matrimonio gay no tiene el apoyo de la religión. En teocracias como la nuestra, los valores de una religión se impone por todo el país. Por eso sólo tenemos una religión en EUA.
9) Los niños nunca pueden superar no tener padre y madre en casa. Por eso nuestra sociedad prohibe expresamente que padres solos críen hijos.
10) El matrimonio gay cambiará los fundamentos de la sociedad; no nos podríamos adaptar a unas nuevas normas sociales. Igual que no pudimos adaptarnos a los coches, a la evolución de la economía o a vivir vidas más largas."

In light of the celebration of Vermont being the 4th state to legalize gay marriage, I'm dedicating this note to all the gays, lesbians, transgender, drags, and straight but supportive people (like me!) who are endlessly fighting for gay rights. ROCK ON!!

10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is "Wrong"
1) Being gay is not natural. Real US Citizens always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
2) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
3) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
4) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
5) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Brittany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
6) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
7) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
8) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
9) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans
